Gratitude

It is easy to gets one’s knickers in a knot over the weather that has dominated our lives these past few months. Let us suggest that you let go of your distress because being aggravated only adds fuel to what is occurring. Like pouring oil on a fire. What is without is within. What is within is without.

Instead, come back to center. Re-establish yourself within yourself. Feet on the ground, look around to find what is pleasing and beautiful in your surroundings. Ponder what opportunities have arisen because you are forced inside because of torrential rain and high winds. Are you spending more time with your loved ones? Are you reading a hand-held book that delights? Are you lightening the load by immersing into cleaning projects that lead to releasing stuff you no longer need or use? Think about it. Every event has its upside as well as its downside. We are, it seems, being pushed to yield, adapt, go with the flow, surrender more than ever before.

I vote for squeezing lemons to make lemonade rather than moaning and groaning about the changes that are surely and remarkably upon us.

What do you choose?

I raise a glass of homemade lemonade to you this fine Saturday morning!

Love,

Barb
