Yep, this is how it feels some days, most days recently, to be honest. Don't know about each of you, but I can say that I am shocked most every single day by the outlandish occurrences on this planet as well as in our nation. How many times a day do you exclaim, "Oh My God!" I am losing count. But I am not losing my mind best as I can tell. I may be losing my hearing per various family members but they have yet to inform me that I am losing my mind.
What in the world are we to make of the current national and global state of affairs? So much is out of our individual control. Except for our own thoughts and feelings. Everything else is beyond one's personal control. Unless we join forces to form a great collective for positive good. I have been studying the Civil Rights Movement. The great changes wrought through non-violent peaceful action led by highly evolved souls is why substantive change took place. We surely can learn from past successful initiatives. Let's learn from the past, not do away with it. Not do away with all relevant writings, either.
Where we place our thoughts, words and deeds absolutely matters. Once our inner housekeeping has been done, stable within, we can then consider how to interact in the world outside oneself. We are in a time of reckoning. Which path will we choose? The path of love or the path of fear and hatred? We really do have a choice. Our children are watching. They are learning. They are waiting for us to show up for them and the world into which they have been birthed. May we join in concerted intention and effort for the highest good of all.
This is what is on my mind today.
What are you contemplating?
God Bless us all,
Barb Woolley
