SURF IS UP!

We are inside the giant waves of change, like it or not. We can become masters of this experience as the world heaves in the final contortions of the ending of a huge chunk of time known as the Kali Yuga. However much grace with which we face the massive disruptions that of necessity accompany this undoing of the world we have known is up to us. Do we breathe our way through, ground, reset and recalibrate on what seems to be a moment-to-moment basis? Or do we become caught in the crush of the waves that crash down upon us with a forcefulness that leaves us with sand in our swimming trunks, mouths and hair? If you were at the beach you might find exhilaration in meeting up with such waves. We're just not used to surfing on land, in the woods, in the desert, upon mountains that give way to landslides, avalanches, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Tried and true advice is this: the only way through it is to go through it. The attitude with which we engage these tumults is ours to choose.
On the EVENTS page of this website you will find details for our upcoming Zoom Venezuelan Disaster Relief call with Juan Carlos Ramirez on Wednesday, August 19, 8 pm EDT. Juan Carlos and his family survived the recent Venezuelan earthquakes after running for their lives from their room on a fifth floor airport hotel in Caracas. This lovely family quickly reset to become translators and providers of essentials for rescue teams and people left grieving, stunned, homeless and jobless. The disaster is not over for the people of Venezuela. Recovery will take years. His organization, Akanan Amazing Travels, is providing direct grassroots care to individuals and families in need. We trust that you will join us to hear the updates that are not in the news and also that you will donate to this worthy cause. Thank you in advance!
With the highest regard to each of you,
