PATIENCE

It did not take long to figure out what kind of image would best represent patience. Dogs have the most amazing patience. Think about it. They get up early in the morning because they want their breakfast and to pee. They have to wait, legs crossed, belly rumbling, for their human to get out of bed and get going. Then, when their human works outside of the home, they wait all day for that human to come home. They do know at least 1/2 hour ahead of time when the human will arrive; dog intuition is truly remarkable. For 1/2 hour said dog waits at the door, patiently. Then starts wiggling and with tail wagging, greets her human. Then, it's wait wait wait for dinner. C'mon mom, I'm hungry and you know it but you make me wait until it's the exact moment that you have determined is the appropriate time for me to eat. I have waited all day. I only think of you all day. Well, maybe that's not quite true...like the dog in the image, I might have spotted and barked at a squirrel or cat or two. Or more. But I spend my day waiting for you because I love you so much! Then, it's having to wait again for bedtime. You know when it's time but you drag your slippers to get into bed with me. Yes, I love sleeping with you. You are, after all, my human. Despite your shortcomings, I love you totally and without hesitation. You say that I have my quirks, too. I do. So we're even. Woof!

This blog is in response to the extreme patience I have had to exercise for more than 2 weeks while waiting for a response from Google. Writing this has lifted me up. Hopefully it does the same for you!

Sending love, patience and exceedingly good humor to you!
